Green Driving

Okay, this might be the most feasible thing ever, but how about a little fun with our green blog post today–it is Friday afterall.

This idea called “I Drive Green” is pretty interesting. Basically it is a multifaceted approach for learning to drive in an environmentally friendly way. Of course this in turn does safe fuel and will save you money. You learn the proper techniques (no more hard breaking to stop light, or flying off the line) with instruction and then you hit the road with a GPS device and some software which tracks your driving and later reports on your bad habits.

Does this look like fun? Definitely. Will it save your and/or your company money? Maybe. But this company has the right idea, and on a large scale these kinds of efforts will make a difference and could in fact safe your company some money depending on your circumstances. Most importantly this shows the being green can be fun!
