Green Tourism meets App

Green Travel and Tourism is hot…So are smartphone apps. So why not blend the two? Well, good news, that has recently been done! Green Travel Choice has created a Green Travel app for the iPhone.

It is useful for a short drives or international travel. The basis of the app is it allows your to enter your starting point and your end point and then from that information it provides you with the CO2 emissions for various modes of transportation.

While the application is rather simple at this time, it likely is really just the tip of the iceberg as far as what is possible and probable when combining Green Travel with the latest technology!
